Teambuilding Challenge

My company had organized a course for all of us...We had 2 choose between Sentosa & Bintan...I chose Bintan of course! Bila lagi nak abiskan duit company! Sentosa bila2 blh pegi sendiri pe...
Although our accomodation der was not dat great, it was still acceptable. Asalkan tak tido tepi jalan sua! Hahaha! I reali2 had fun der...D food was superb man! Eat all u can! Hahaha! Our activities der include of rock climbing, archery & stuff like dat...All was ok expect when it comes 2 d flying fox...Im not d person dats afraid of height but dat flying fox I tell u! Damn siak! I spent nearly half and hour sitting on d ledge crying! Yes I cried!! Kental siak Mira! D trainer tickled me n my colleagues tried threatening if I dun proceed dey will push me! How could dey! Idiots! Dah lah viking aku tak suka naik apetah lagi tu benda! So trying not 2 be a spoilsport I juz go on...Lagipon malu siol dgn makcik2! Umur dah brape pon maseh terror panjat2 dari kita yg muda2 ni! So tanak paiseh nye pasal aku go aje ah! Hahahaha! Ape2 ayat ntah kuar dari mulut aku! Hahaha! By d way its advisable to bring extra track shoes! In case something happen 2 d other shoe! As 4 me I wore slippers coz my track shoe tapak tercabut! Takde time lain nak tercabut! Panjat2 pakai slipper! Tak penah di buat org! Overall its was tiring lah yet fun! Can't wait 4 d next course! Ubin anyone?

Saturday 22nd September

Last Sat spent my time with 'Him', Wan & Lin...It has been 2 yrs since we're 2gether. Tot of spending our time alone but since its been quite a while since we last hangout with Wan & Lin. So they tagged along...I Have been craving 4 Yong Tau Foo so we had our iftar session at Bagus...Den off we went to Vivo...Juz hang around. Entertaining those 2 *clowns made us laugh till we cry! read: Adha & Wan.

Happy 2 years Sayang...Although its juz 2 years we've been 2gether, it feels as though we've been 2gether forever. I am who I am because of you, and there is no one else I want to be with. Der have been ups & down in our relationship. You have taught me so much...To be patience all d time...Even though u always made me wait 'patiently' 4 u! Made me laugh with all ur stupid jokes! Made me smile when I'm sad...Made me angry & cry over ur stupid behaviour! Made me bored with all ur nagging! But watever u do, u have made me falling more in love with you. I love you more and more with each passing day. And it eases me to know that as tomorrow approaches, I will love you more than yesterday and tomorrow will be more than today. You make me feel so special when I'm with you. Tolerating with all my nonsense. I hope you know how much you really mean to me. In the past, I had always yearned for someone to love, to cherish and to take good care of. To whom I would share my dreams with and make them come true. I'd always walked around feeling so empty with a hole in my heart that I thought would never get filled...You filled that hole. I think back to how empty my life would be without you by my side. Transitlink Annual Dinner & Dance

My company organized an Annual D&D last weekend...It wuz held at Holiday Inn Park View. The theme wuz Wild Wild West! Wat d heck! At first I thought of buying d costume but I pushed dat thought aside as I know I will only be wearing it once! As 4 renting, its out of d question. So on dat day, I did not follow d theme. Not only me but majority of them. Biasalah lau keje dgn ramai makcik2 takkan lah diorg nak pakai mcm cowgirl kan! Hahahah! Stop it sia! It wuz fun except dat d food served is not to OUR liking! But overall its wuz superb especially with d presence of my colleague, Kak Enon. Hahaha! She entertain us with her crazy act! D amcee wuz good too...I brought Adha along. Luckily he wuz ok wif it...We had games & stuff but too bad I didn't get to win any prizes for d lucky draw. Maybe I can use dat number to buy 4D?? Hahahah!

Weekend Off Finally Here!!

Oh my! At last my weekend off is here! Have 2 wait at least 3 weeks 4 me to have my 3 days off! Saturday went out with 'him' to Tamp to watch 'Transformers'. Actually thought of booking 2 tix for 'Alone' but end up booking 'Transformers' instead...Kesian kan...Dari tuari dia nak tgk cite tu asik tak jadi...Takpelah skali skala give in...No next time ok sayang! LOL! Meet up with Yati & Yusnor yesterday...We planned to catch a movie but ended up going to sentosa...Its been quite a long time since we last hang out together...Miss their craziness...Even after they're married they're still d same...Crazy, fun & adorable couple.... Hahahah!

1. Love 2 daydream...ALOT! Anytime! Anywhere! Everywhere! 'He' hates it when I did dat! Especially when he's talking & I'm not paying attention!

2. Love to bite my fingernails when I'm nervous...Not only when I'm nervous...Everytime when I'm doing nothing...Hahahah! I know its disgusting but its my habit since young & mind you! Its MY fingernails we're talking about here! 'He' hates it!

3. Love to sulk ALOT! When I dun get what I want, I tend to sit in a corner& keep quiet...I mean really2 quiet! If I opened my mouth all hell will break loose! 'He' hates it!

4. Hate Cats! Not hate actually...But SCARED! If u wanna ask me out for dinner or sumthing, make sure d place is cat-free...Hahahaha! I will start to feel uneasy if those cats r around. Baik2 lapar terus jadi kenyang tau! And u will be my victim to shoo those cats away! I won't even move until those cats r not in sight! One of my frequent victim is 'him'. 'He' hates it!

5. Struggling 2 save money every month but ended up spending all of it...'He' hates it!

6. Have a very bad mood swing. Once I'm in a bad mood, try talking to me...Hahahah! 'He' hates it!

7. Luuuuurve to talk when Im in d mood....Will keep on talking n talking n talking non stop.Will talk almost about anything dat came to my mind. 'He' would den asked me to shut my mouth...Membebel2 mcm makcik2 katanye...Hhhhmph! 'He' hates it!

Juz 1 day ur not around n Im starting 2 feel lonely already...Like I say, 'U Besarkan Reservist Daripada I! Reservist u lagi penting dari I pe!' LOL!

Well...He'll be away till friday for his reservist...Now for 5 days, no one is fetching me from work! No one 2 vent my anger on! No one 2 pinch! No one 2 joke with! No one 2 pamper me! Im left all alone! Kwang3x....Hey! 5 days for me is too long ok! Maklomlah dah biasa jumpa selalu...Aku rindu dia OK! Haizzz..belom kawin dah mcm ni...Mcmane dah kawin nanti agaknye?! Mesti berkepik je bwh ketiak! Hahahah!
After work yesterday, sumone gave me a surprise. Im stationed at Pasir Ris Interchange at dat time...After knocking off at 1830, there he is waiting 4 me juz outside d MRT! Who else but my SAYANG lah! So sweet...He had to accompay his mum to hdb so after dat, he decide 2 fetch me from work...But he had 2 b back at his camp b4 2230. So 2 jam tu cukuplah nak lepaskan rindu! Hhahahah! (ngada2 betul) We had our dinner den off he went...Again! Cepat ok balik! Took 2 days leave till Sun...Sun is my brother's engagement day n Sat to spent time especally wif him...Wow best sey! 2 days off 2morrow den leave 2 days! Wooohoooo!

It has been nearly 3 mths I'm in d new job...Everything went on smoothly except when doing sales I have to be really2 patient with all d customers. Lagi2 apek2 & nyonya2 yg tak sabar nak mampos! During these time, I have made quite a number of new frens...Semua ok lah cuma biasalah lau keje dgn makcik2 ade lah cerita nyer...But hey! Some makcik r really sporting ok! Lau diorg takde mesti boring kat pantry! Well dis past few weeks had been so stressful 4 me...As u know relationships has its ups n down...So is mine...I tried my best to be happy all d time...Thinking bout him made me lose my mind...I dun know wat will happen next but all I can do is pray dat everything will be ok...I miss him so damn much! Its been nearly a week since we lost touch with each other...Hope he's fine. At last I can finally update my going-2-be dusty blog...Not dat I'm lazy, I'm juz too tired to even on my pc...Its been tiring at work lately...Last week I had 2 cover Bedok station..All alone! It has been an interesting 2006...Bad and good memories had happened...2006 wuz indeed a roller coaster. The time when I'm engaged to my one & only love, Adha, wuz the best thing dat had happen. And when my parents' bedroom caught fire. A challenging one which really tested my mental & emotional strength. I wasn't sure if I could make it. But here I am today all smiles. Wah! Raya dah bis baru nak update...Ape saje je aku ni...Been really2 bz & lazy to update. First thing my mum & dad wuz admitted to hospital coz a fire broke out in their room & had to stay there for nearly 2 weeks...Thank god everything is fine now. They're back home safe & sound. During their absence, me & my bro had to clear everything at home. Its nearly over except 4 some minor things. By the way thanks to my frens Izah & others who took their time to visit my parents at the hospital. Really2 appreciate it. Enough of this. Here r some photos of d hari raya celebrations.

Btw yesterday went to Sentosa coz my dad's company gave us a 5 tickets. Every year when its Family Day PUB will sponsor us tickets to places. This year its at Sentosa (Siloso Beach). Went with Adha, Fiza & Azmi. We took d sky ride & luge. Its wuz fun except 4 the sky ride. Tak suke sey...Tinggi nak mampos! I prefer roller coster sey! We went home arnd 5 coz had to accompany my parents to buy furnitures at bedok. Adha picked us up later at nite. Da antar diorg alik kite pon ape lagi gi dating lah...Hahahha! Its been quite awhile since we last went out together...

Harlow!!! How r u all doing? Wow! Pejam celik dah nak Hari Raya ah! Hhmmm...Hope dat u all have made a preparation for Hari Raya...As 4 me I have no time coz of work n due to my sickness...Dis year is d worst of my life...Leh kire sey brape hari je puasa...*sigh* And yesterday I wuz sent 2 hospital coz I fainted at my workplace. I had dis unbearable pain in my head n I keep excusing myself to d ladies...I wuz in d storeroom when I blacked out...My colleague called d ambulance...Bila dah sadar je dah kat dlm ambulance....Abg medic thanks eh picitkan kepala saye...Hahahah! Kat hospitalplak kena blood test lah...Urine test lah...Ish! I wuz kept in d observation room since 3pm to 9pm! Lama sey...Kena masuk air lah apelah...D doc asked me whether I want be admitted coz he need to do a scanning on my head...Takpe masih je...Sape yg nak stay kat hospital sey...I wuz then discharged n given mc 4 a few days...I had to went down 4 appointment next month 4 d scanning...Nasib2...Tapi takpe dpt rest kat umah! Hahahah! Btw thanks 2 d 'nurse' dat bruised my hand by poking her needle at me... c",)

Well..Its been ages since I last meet up with my darlings...We had lotsa things 2 catch up...We r actually called '6 jahanam' masa keje kat airport dulu...Hahahah! Meet up with my long lost ex-colleague, FARID! Its been quite a while since we last saw each other..D last time I saw him wuz when I wuz faking sick at CIAS carrgo when he wuz juz abt to go home from his nite shift...Kesian kau penat2 pon sanggop antar aku gi amik mc...Hahaha!He wuz my best fren, my smoking companion & my toilet guard back then...Eh! All d other guys can't b trusted except 4 him..Ya I used 2 work with guys at cargo export office...There's only 2 girls working including me...We work in different shift so its a bit hard if we wanted to go 2 d ladies in d middle of d nite...
So had 2 depend on Farid...Lau dia takde terpaksa lah aku tahan sampai ke pagi...I had 2 quit dat job coz I dun like d environment there...Working with too much guys can drive u insane! Ok I juz came back from KL last weekend...Dgn sape lagi lau bukan my beloved Adha...Its wuz a last minute plan actually...1 week juz b4 d trip...We board d bus at Beach Rd on Friday Nite 2200hrs...Reached KL around 3 plus...1st thing wuz 2 checked in at d hotel there...Siak tul! I oredi booked this particular hotel & when we reached there dis man told us dat d hotel wuz oredi full! Klakar pe! Takpe2...Kite cool...Luckily d taxi driver dat took us there baik hati...He searched a hotel 4 us...Cari nye cari ade jugak...Nasib ade...Taxi driver tu pon baik baik jugak...He charged us Rm20 at 1st tapi dalam baik dia mintak lagi Rm10! Stakat tolong carikkan hotel je...Tapi takpelah Halal ah... Hahaha! Uncle kalau lu baca ni kite mau cakap thanks! Lu gerek ah! Lau tak terpaksa ah kite tido tepi jalan....Hahahah! Sampai je lepak siul...Bangun kul 8 then siap2 nak round2...Had our breakfast at the restaurant there & off we went...1st stop is at Puduraya coz we need 2 get a ticket back 2 Singapore...Nak step naik monorail konon...Dgn confidentnye kite jalan...Tapi atlast sesat! Hahahah! Nasib ade org leh tanye...After buying d ticket, si Adha nak sgt gi Menara KL...Terpaksalah ikut kehendak dia...Take a photo here & there...Next stop is at Berjaya Time Square...Stakat jalan2 je tgk lau ade benda nak beli...Tgh jalan2 tu ade dis guy walking towards us & smiling at us...He looked so damn familiar...Bila dia dah walk past us baru aku teringat yang rupa2nye dia Azan dari kumpulan Ruffedge!! Si Adha ni adelah tarik2 aku suruh kejar amik gambar dgn dia...I wuz too shocked to say anything..So I told Adha juz 4get it lah...Lagipon I'm not dat fanatik abt Ruffedge anyway...Then we had our lunch at Kenny Rogers...Ingat lepas tu naik main theme park kat dlm tu tapi bila fikir2 balik takut termuntah plak...So tak jadilah...After our lunch we went outside to smoke...There's a mini konsert outside so takde keje kite gi tgk je...Tgh duduk2 tu Radhi dari kumpulan OAG nyanyi plak...Hensem pulak aku tgk dia live...After singing he had to attend a sesi autograph dgn peminat2...We walk past us & actuali smiled at me!! Aku dah cuit2 Adha suruh panggil dia nak amik gambar...Si Adha pulak tergamam! Ish! *sigh* Tak dptlah kite amik ganbar dgn artis2 tu...Arrrghhh!! Around 1800hrs we proceed back to d hotel 2 rest...Mlm dlm kul 2000hrs kite kuar alik gi Petaling St...Didn't buy anything coz all d things there sama je dgn Spore...Adha yg banyak borong...We didn't stay dat long coz I had a very bad headache...Sorry sayang...Lain kali kite pegi lagi k...On Sunday we checked out early coz Adha masih nak jalan2 lagi...We proceed to Bukit Bintang Lot 10...Nothing much there...At 1530hrs we board d bus back to Spore...Here is some pics I've taken at KL....

Meet up with my ex-colleague Hidayah at Ang Mo Kio...Juz hang around sebab dah lama kan tak jumpa...Tgh duduk2 kat Mcdonald tiba2 ade 1 makcik ni dtg mintak $6...Dia kata anak dia lapar lom makan...I juz said dat I dun have any money & she said thanks & walk off...I saw her walking around asking people 4 d same thing...Kesian pulak aku tengok....So when she's out of sight I called her daughter dat wuz sitting nearby..."Adik tadi tu mak eh?" she nodded..."Adik dah makan lom?" she nodded again..."Adik lapar tak?" she juz kept quiet...Then I saw tears forming in her eyes..."Adik lom makan kan? Laparkan?" She nodded....Kesian sey aku tgk budak tu....So I juz hand her $5 & told her to buy some food...She said thanks & salam me...A few minutes later her mum came up & thank me...*sigh* Ape lah nak jadi dunia ni....We proceed to Jurong East after dat jalan2...Then Hidayah had to meet up her Bf plak...Jadi aku pon takde plan gi lah umah makcik aku kat Tamp...Mlm Adha fetch me there....

Aaaargh! I'm so damn tired! Juz finished cleaning up my room dat looks like a PIGSTY! our dinner @ BAGUS & proceed to Yishun to pick up his mum...He & his parents will be coming to my house tomorrow to discuss 'something'...Hehehehe...YIPPEEE!!! We've been planning dis 4 quite awhile now & finally we've come to dis decision...We had to plan 4 our future sooner or later...So why not now...Hope it goes well...Tomorrow Adha asked me to follow him to his aunt's chalet but I think I will give it a miss...Had a lot of stuff to do tomorrow...Dats all for now...Had to eat my dinner now...I'm starving!!!

I & Izah went to Jun's chalet...Its her daughter, Qisha's birthday...Took a cab to Buangkok Cresent to pickup 'Her Highness'. Hahahhah! Then proceed to Compass Point to get a present 4 Qisha...Well...sambil2 tu sempat kite shopping utk diri kite sendiri...Hahahaha! After we're done we then proceed to d chalet which is located at Downtown East...Punyelah ramai orang...Dah lah 2 ekor ni sesat nak carik Jun nye chalet...Atlast jumpa jugak...Jun's different in real life...Much2 more pretty...Jangan kembang eh Jun! Heheheh! And her Qisha is so cute! Tapi pemalu pulak...The food wuz nice especially the mee...Jun nanti I nak kawin I order k dari u k...Hehehheh...After we eat we took a picture here n there n proceed back...Jalan2 sambil amik gambar ni dua ekor...Jalan nye jalan sampai kat Mrt...Jauh jugak tau kite jalan..Hahahah! Today I asked for a timeoff at 1700hrs coz my mum had been warded to Tan Tock Seng hospital for an operation...Tapi punya lah menyeksa nak alik siang! Ada je alasan si tua tu nak kasi! Tak cukup orang lah takde orang cover lah! Macam2! But I told him d latest I can wait is 1730hrs...If there is really no one I will juz walk off! Ade ke patut mak aku masuk hospital aku kena keje! But luckily he let me off coz he know I will create a scene there...Tau pon takut eh dgn gangster Tanah Merah ni! Hahahha! Bodoh nye keje! Paksa2 org! Adha picked me up at my werkplace at 1730hrs then we proceed to TTSH...Nasib dia ade lau tak sesatlah aku naik mrt...Hahahah! For ur info lau kau tinggal kan aku kat mane2 mrt confirm aku sesatnye...Hahahah! Dats y I prefer taking bus...Kesian Mira dah besar2 pon masih tak pandai2 naik mrt...Well reach TTSH at 1830...My bro & his gf, my aunt & her family & my dad was there...Kesian aku tgk mak aku...Macam tak larat gitu...She was groaning in pain...Nak duduk pon susah kena tolong...Atlast semua balik tinggal lah aku ngan Adha...Around 2000hrs Kak Liza & her family came...Lagi skejap je visitting hrs nak abis...Tapi takpelah atleast dia datang...My mother's brother & his wife came too...Tapi brape minit dia datang aku

Went to Bombay Cafe with Izah yesterday...Actually planned to go Pasir Ris Park tapi si Lynn tak jadi...So takkan nak gi dgn Izah plak kan...Mcm dating gitu...Hahahah! So...Atlast kite return ke BOMBAY CAFE!!! YAY!!! Hahhahah! Dah pandai tau order....Kite order Vegetable Fried Rice, Mango Lassi, Rasmalai, Samosa, Rocket Kulfi...Banyak tu...Kan budak2 ni tamaon! Hahahah! All was nice except 4 d Rocket Kulfi...Rasa semacam ah...Ntah susah nak describe...D waiter there mesti bingit je layan karenah budak2 2 ekor ni...Ye lah skejap2 panggil waiter...Last year Izah kacau aku dgn mamak misai kan...Skrg dia pon dah ade peminat tau! Mamak Itam!! YAY!!! Mamak tu asik tgkkan Izah aje...Cebedah! Lain kali dpt discount ah makan sana! *LOL* All was nice except videoclip SRK takde...Si Izah ni suruh2 aku tanye waiter tu plak..Kesian nye pasal tanyekanlah...Too bad CD SRK dah rosak! *LOL* Agaknye ramai lagi budak mcm kite request lagu SRK sampai rosak2 CD tu...Hahahha! Dah kembung perut kita isap sheesha plak...And u know wat?!! Diorg mintak IC sak! Klakar pe!! Muka kite ade ke mcm budak2 underage?!! Bingit je part tu!! Ni tadi ada news dari kawan aku kat keje...Bhaiyya2 kat TMFT semua dah lari...Dunno wats d reason but all I know is dat I will surely miss them a lot! Tried to call their HP but semua switch off...Asal sey...I know its wierdlah tapi I can tell u dat they r the best Bhaiyyas! WAREHOUSE! I change my uniform pretending to go there but atlast peng kat bedok rilek2! Malas ah! *sigh* But dat doesn't stop me from talking to Ayang on d phone everyday...If not 4 our different working shifts agaknye dah hari2 kite jumpa...Tapi oklah...Dia rajin amik & antar aku alik keje lau dia free...But I can't do anything lau tak dengar suara dia...Ini lah yang dinamakan cinta! Habis Madu Sepah Dibuang...

Bingkisan ini ku tuliskan buat renungan mereka yang bergelar insan..Insan??? Hidup ini penuh dengan kekalutan..penuh dengan kekecewaan..Takdirkah yang perlu dipersalahkan? Atau kerakusan manusia yg menjadi dalang? Seringkali aku bertanya, kenapa semua ini berlaku? Dan setiap kali itulah jugak aku kecewa, hampa!! Kisah hidupku bermula di sebuah tempat terkenal di Orchard. Aku ditempatkan di suatu tempat yg sempit bersama 19 yg lain...Razak..Yaaaa..aku masih ingat nama itu..dialah yg memiliki kami... Suatu malam datang seorang lelaki bernama Joe, Aku tak pasti apa yg dibincangkan oleh Joe dgn Razak..apa yg aku ingat..setela h itu Joe menghampiri dan membawa aku pergi.. aku resah meninggalkan kawan-kawan yang lain. Mereka hanya mampu melemparkan pandangan sayu penuh simpati padaku dan jugak pada diri mereka sendiri..kerna mereka sedar, mereka juga bakal menerima nasib yang sama. Joe membawa aku berjalan-jalan menyusuri kaki lima ibu kota dengan riang..sungguh indah pemandangan bandaraya ini..alangkah bahagianya jika aku dapat menikmati malam-malam begini tanpa kongkongan..tanpa perlu menjadi hamba kepada sesiapa.. Tiba-tiba Joe berhenti..melabuhkan punggung sambil tersenyum, menyeringai seolah-oleh ada sesuatu yg sedang mengeletek nafsunya..perlahan-lahan Joe menyentuh tubuhku..dilurut-lurutnya berkali-kali..aku rimas diperlakukan sebegini, namun apakan daya..sebagai makhluk yg lemah aku hanya mampu membiarkan tangan sasa itu menguliti sekujur tubuhku. Joe semakin rakus..aku dikucupnya berkali-kali..t erasa sekujur tubuhku membahang...uhhh!! TIDAK!!!! Raungan itu hanya mampu berkumandang di benakku..tubuhku semakin longlai dikerjakan Joe. Sampainya hatimu Joe..engkau manusia berhati binatang!!!syaitan!!! bertopengkan manusia.. Joe menghela nafas panjang..bibirnya dijauhkan dari tubuh monggelku..apakah dia sudah sedar akan perbuatannya??apakah dia kini menyesal?..Syukurlah jika begitu..masih ada rupanya secebis perasaan simpati dalam hati yg tadinya bagai ditunggang iblis.. Suasana sepi seketika..Joe senyap tanpa sebarang bicara..entah berapa kali jam di tangan direnunginya... Sayup? kedengaran beberapa suara..seakan menghapiri kami..Joe kelihatan begitu gembira menyambut kehadiran beberapa orang lelaki itu..Seorang darinya merenung tajam kearah tubuh bugarku ini..aku resah dengan renungan itu..renungan yg dipenuhi nafsu serakah.. Joe memperkenalkan aku pada nya..Roy, begitu jugak dengan yg lain-lain...Jack, Poie dan si gemuk itu..Agi. Roy membisikkan sesuatu pada Joe..dah tanpa ku sedar aku kini berada dalam genggaman Roy. Perkara terkutuk tadi dilakukan lagi, dari tangan ke tangan aku berpindah, aku dikucup..diisap..diramas sepuas-puasnya Aduhh!!! aku tak mampu lagi menahannya..seluruh tubuhku bagaikan hancur menjadi abu. Tubuhku dikecap mereka sepuas hati..dan akhirnya, setelah mereka puas memperlakukan diriku, aku dihumbankan di tepi longkang. Habis madu sepah dibuang!!! maruah hidupku hancur..aku diperlakukan lebih hina daripada seekor anjing..Kenapa manusia begitu kejam?..tidakkah mereka sedar..aku juga punya harga diri??? syaitan-syaitan itu tak mungkin akan mengerti..Kini..tinggallah aku sendirian..menangis..merintih mengenangkan nasib hidupku. *~True Love~*

It was a busy morning, approximately 8:30 am, when an elderly gentleman, in his 80's, arrived to have stitches removed from his thumb. He stated that he was in a hurry as he had an appointment at 9:00 am. I saw him looking at his watch and decided, since I was not busy with another patient, I would evaluate his wound. On examination, it was well healed, so I talked to one of the doctors, got the needed supplies to remove his sutures and redressed his wound. While taking care of his wound, we began to engage in conversation. I asked him if he had an important appointment that morning, as he was in such a hurry. The gentleman told me no, that he needed to go to the nursing home to eat breakfast with his wife. I then inquired as to her health. He told me that she had been there for a while and that she was a victim of Alzheimer Disease. As we talked, and I finished dressing his wound, I asked if she would be worried if he was a bit late. He replied that she no longer knew who he was, that she had not recognized him in five years now. I was surprised, and asked him. "And you still go every morning, even though she doesn't know who you are?" He smiled as he patted my hand and said."She doesn't know me, but I still know who she is." I had to hold back tears as he left, I had goose pimples on my arm, and thought, "That is the kind of love I want in my life." True love is neither physical, nor romantic. True love is an acceptance of all that is, has been, will be, and will not be. "The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the best of everything that come along their way."
